During our travel for the Raya 1429H, we stop at a mosque deep inside Hulu Terengganu, a place called Kampung Payang Kayu, about 30km from the nearest town Kuala Brang. Then we saw this huge thing hanging on one of the wooden pillar.
At first I thought it was a plastic decor to hang things like tasbih or head cover for the public usage. After a physical check, it was a full set of a Deer horn. Well, this explain where I was, deep inside the country and far from mass civilisation.
Naufal and Fauzan didn't keep the opportunity away to fool around.
We wonder the rational behind this gesture.
May be to reflect that we are in the hunters' area. :-)

Deer horn in a Masjid? odd...very odd. Normally JK Masjid dont tolerate this kind of thing.
sadly but true picture Abeli,
mosque is located in between Kuala Ping and Telemong. I stop for Asar when driving from Payan Kayu to Manir. Notice that some places have not yet received proper teaching.
